Today I had a couple of meetings about our 3rd annual Moonlight with Monka. As I sat here going over our last two galas and getting ideas for this year’s, I once again was overcome with gratitude and love for this community that has completely supported our nonprofit. For all of you who attended our events, donated to our auctions, helped with the planning, and stand with us as we advocate for more funding to be given to pediatric brain cancer research, we are so thankful.
When we started this nonprofit, we had no idea how to do this, but we had our why – our purpose. We knew we wanted to do what we could do so other parents don’t have to lose their child to this terrible tragedy. We knew we had to give back to research so that they can save our children’s lives.
Insley was a light for so many people in her life and we have to thank all of you for helping us keep her light shining so bright.
Every time we get to share what your generosity has done and the impact it has made for our little nonprofit, we realize how big our purpose is.
We look forward to seeing what this years gala does and what we can continue to do with all of you. Stay tuned for more details but for now save the date for May 4th for the 3rd annual Moonlight with Monka Gala. Where you will not only hear more about the impacts our donations have made for research but also what we hope to do.
