About Insley

A Shining Light

Insley Augusta Horn, born May 3rd, 2012, was a beautiful soul who came into the world with so much love and light. The word that is most used when describing sweet Insley is kind. She lived her short life here on Earth spreading kindness to anyone and everyone she met. Insley loved to not only pay compliments to those she loved, but she also had a heart to make sure everyone around her, including complete strangers, felt good. Insley was an artist, a dancer (self-taught), a daughter, an incredibly protective and loving sister, a best friend to all, and a true angel on this Earth.

A friend once told me, “You can tell she was the light in every room that she entered… and in so many people’s lives too.”

Full of joy and love with a heart so pure.

On June 3rd, 2021, just one month after her 9th birthday, Insley passed away from an asymptomatic brain tumor. In just 9 years, she left a huge impact on everyone who was lucky enough to know her. We hope to carry on her legacy of spreading kindness, helping others, and living life just like Ins.

Committed to the Fight Against Pediatric Brain Cancer.
